Horsforth Wind Trio
Elizabeth Kenwood, Deborah Pennington, Julia Breakspear
We are three North Leeds musicians who play flute, oboe and clarinet, with a bass clarinet thrown in for good measure. Our electric repertoire spans 300 years and many musical styles. We have all worked for Art Forms and between us played in various ensembles, bands and orchestras. Elizabeth has been a popular performer on a number of occasions at Boston Spa Methodist Church Lunchtime concerts, accompanied by Peter Reasbeck.
Beyond music making we have some interesting hobbies. Julia, our flautist, likes gardening, cross stitching and making rhubarb gin. Oboist Elizabeth is learning beekeeping in her spare time. Deborah, clarinet, keeps out of mischief thanks to JB, her four year old Labrador. They are learning how to do hoopers!
