Christians Together are a group of members representing churches from Boston Spa, Bramham, Clifford, Thorp Arch and Walton. We come together to hold ecumenical services of worship and fundraise for local and global charities.
In 2024 we took part in the global Week of Prayer for Christian Unity in January, and in February hosted a Comedy evening with Paul Kerensa, where we raised £550 for the local Millie Wright Children’s Charity. During Lent, as part of our journey in faith, we held a 5 week evening course reflecting on and using materials from the Christian Aid Act on Poverty campaign.
Events are held in churches and village halls around the geographical area, and include an outdoor harvest celebration (weather permitting!).
The chronological year culminates in a special ecumenical advent celebration consisting of hymns and readings as we collectively prepare for the anniversary of the birth of Christ.
